Garden trip to Copton Ash

Our Garden Interest Group visited a National Garden Scheme garden on April 14th, 2014.

Nine of us set out in three cars. It was a lovely sunny afternoon with lots of interesting plants to view.

We were shown around the garden by the owners Tim and Gillian Ingrams whose special interest is alpines.

They open their garden a few weekends a year on the National Garden Scheme, but are  happy to open up for garden groups.

Our visit was 2.30 to 4.30 and we had tea and homemade cake after going round the garden.

They have a very wide selection of plants and trees with many raised from wild seed, and they also have a small alpine nursery.
